Wine Down Retreat
You don't need to be a wine expert. You just need to be present.
An invitation to experience Umbria through the people who call it home.
Share long lunches and candlelit dinners with passionate winemakers, hear the stories behind every bottle, gather around the table with inspiring women who have chosen a life rooted in purpose, reconnect with yourself through mindful body practices, and end each day with sunset aperitivos overlooking rolling vineyards.
Every moment is thoughtfully designed to slow you down, spark meaningful conversations, and leave you with connections that last long after you return home.

when it's the right one.
This is for you if
- You'd travel on your own, and would rather not eat dinner alone.
- You want to understand wine without being quizzed on it.
- You've been running at a speed you can't keep up anymore.
- You want Italy from someone who lives there, not from a coach window.
This is not for you if
- You want to see as much of Italy as possible in five days.
- You'd rather have every hour planned and confirmed in advance.
- You're looking for nightlife, or for a big group.
- Being asked how you feel makes you want to leave the room.
I'm not sending you

Winedering around Italy
I was raised in Argentina, in a family shaped by Italian roots, and for as long as I can remember Italy felt like more than a place. For years my career was in science, in the corporate world, and life moved fast. Something kept pulling me toward a different rhythm.
Umbria changed everything. Buying a home here wasn't a milestone, it was the start of a different way of living: small towns, family-run wineries, long lunches, and the kind of daily beauty that doesn't need to be loud to be powerful.
I'm a certified sommelier, and everything on this retreat comes out of that life rather than a supplier list. The wineries are the ones I go to on an ordinary Tuesday. The families know my name, the truffle hunter is a neighbour, and there are no middlemen taking a cut in between.
What I can give you is the version of Umbria I actually live in — the doors that open because someone knows me, the tables that don't appear on any list, and a week where nobody is rushing you to the next thing.
What it costs, plainly.
Everything from the moment you land is included — the five nights, the meals, the tastings, the truffle hunt, the cooking class, the wine you blend yourself, the daily practice and every transfer. Flights are not included.
The group is small on purpose.
